Using energy saving bulbs actually helps prevent greenhouse gas emissions that lead to many of the global warming issues that the world faces today. If you pay your own electrical bill you will see that sometimes up to 45% of your charges are from lighting. Changing even one light bulb in your home or office could bring you a savings of up to 15 dollars or more on your electrical bill. They cost slightly more than regular light bulbs usually around five dollars more but they last longer and do end up saving you money.
